Our History
Dr. Wongyun Jeung’s Journey
He first pursued architecture, completing a five-year program, but life took a turn when he moved to Alaska to support his wife, who was managing a dental clinic. While helping out as a marketing coordinator and billing lead, Dr. Jeung found himself drawn to dentistry—a field that blended his appreciation for precision and creativity with the chance to care for others.
That experience led him to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Today, as the founder of W Dental Care, Dr. Jeung focuses on making modern dental care more accessible and patient-focused. He designed his practice to accommodate busy schedules, offering evening and Sunday appointments in a welcoming, fully equipped setting.
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Jeung served as a Military Police Officer in the U.S. military. The discipline, leadership, and sense of responsibility he developed continue to shape his approach to patient care. As a father of two, he understands the challenges families face and is committed to making dental visits as easy and comfortable as possible for patients of all ages.
